Your Guide to Adventure

I recently had the pleasure of being absorbed in a 4 day culinary VIP wine experience hosted by Kate Herness of Your Wine Immersion. What an experience it was! From the moment we arrived at the beautiful condo and all the special amenities in the welcome kit. Kate had set up a beautifully orchestrated tour of boutique wineries, lunches and dinners for our group. She is well known in Napa and Sonoma and we had VIP, red carpet treatment and private tastings at every winery we attended. It was my first trip to the area and needless to say, I am spoiled for anything less than Kate Herness's  Wine Immersion Experience and cannot wait to return for another.

Kate is the ultimate host and guide for planning a wine tour event.  My daughter and I had the opportunity to go on a mother/daughter trip for the purpose of  wine tastings for my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding.  Kate was our host/guide, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better.  Kate picked out the itinerary to a T, from accommodations to wineries to dinner in the evening.  And thanks to Kate and the trip to Napa, my wine palate has expanded due to the experience. I used to be a sweet white wine drinker. I now dabble in all sorts of wine…from whites to reds to bubblies.  You can’t go wrong with a wine tour event 

hosted by Kate. 

Kate knows wine - and she also knows the best winemakers - and wineries - and food - oh yes, and the best places to eat -n and drink wine - oh yes, and the best places to rest! -how to have fun - and oh yes, where to find the best hats!

I had a phenomenal time with Kate during my trip to Napa Valley. I was able to do things that you would only be able to do if you have connections to people and places. Kate is definitely someone who has connections and will treat you to behind the scenes events that you couldn't get on your own. One thing that I was able to do was stomp down grapes from the fall harvest. It was a memorable experience I will always have.

Every day was filled with amazing excitement of a new adventure. From simple to complex wines from the valley floor to the mountaintops, we were met with beautiful views and Kate's enthusiasm to share her knowledge.
